Lamar Miller Scouting Report

NFL Draft Prospect:

Lamar Miller - Running Back - Miami

Leaving for the NFL after his junior season, Miller could be a mid to late first rounder or possibly slip into the second round.

Great between the tackle runner who makes quick decisions and hits the hole hard. Has breakaway speed and is very hard to catch in the open field. Sets up his blocks well and knows when to be patient and let  the play develop. Has  great balance and can change directions on a dime.

At 5,11 and 212 he has ideal size for the NFL.  Very tough kid who can play through pain. Has pretty good hands and should be able to develop into a good pass catcher out of the backfield.

Has had some injuries in the past (shoulder) but seems to be healthy with no lingering problems. Not the most experience player. Needs to improve as a blocker.
